Administrator Unit Trust- Fixed Term Contract

Reporting to the Team Leader

Purpose of the job

Providing excellent service to all clients will be the primary responsibility of the Administrator, who will ensure a high standard of quality in validating and processing instructions received by Intembeko. In this role, you are responsible for processing incoming work, following up on pending tasks, and correctly processing client instructions.

Main duties & responsibilities

  • The accurate validation and processing of all client instructions into the administration system and ensuring the constant review and updating of the workflow system.

  • Ensuring all incoming work is validated and captured within required turnaround times and before relevant cut-off times as agreed upon in the Service Level Agreement with the clients.

  • Ensuring that all instructions received comply with business rules and legislative requirements. Follow up on outstanding requirements from clients and intermediaries via telephone and email. Assist with the prevention of fraud and money laundering by adhering to business and legal requirements.

  • Technical understanding of Intembeko and the client offerings and the ability to apply that understanding to daily outputs.

  • Correct and timeous sighting of errors.

  • Support fellow team members and Team Leader.

  • Ad hoc duties may be given from time to time.

  • Contribute to solving problems for clients by actively participating in Intembeko's continuous improvement drive.

Ideal experience

  • Ideally 1 year’s experience within a Linked Investment Service Provider/Financial Services Industry

  • Alternately, experience within the operational space looking after Unit Trust administration be advantageous.

  • Typing proficiency

Software and systems knowledge

  • Computer skills (MS Office)

  • Typing proficiency

  • Flexcube, Digiata, Bizagi knowledge will be an advantage

Ideal qualifications:

  • Matric / Grade 12

  • Relevant tertiary qualification would be an advantage in B. Com, Accounting or Finance

  • Preference will be given to candidates who have consistently exceeded expectations in terms of their performance (PDR).
